Been seeing LFAA releases on distro lists and whatnot for what seems like fucking aeons now, but somehow never got round to checking them out. On this, their first release for Relapse, things seem pretty solid – as they bloody well should be considering the band are eleven years deep into their grind-playing career. ‘Eterno Treblinka’ is resolutely old-school throughout, referencing the early Earache canon with manic blasts, crunching mid-paced slugfests and violent snorts of displeasure as it veers between sub-minute howls of fury (one of them a Fear Of God cover) and comparatively epic cuts like ‘Holocausto Diario’ which weighs in at nigh-on three minutes. Everything’s sound as a pound, and if you dig the likes of Terrorizer, ASRA, 324, Excruciating Terror and early Napalm Death then you could do a helluvva lot worse than giving this violent little bastard a go.
