Piss released an okay enough demo in 2013, then they released this a couple of years later. It’s an improvement. Their raw and noisy take on d-beat is still ragged and scraggly, but at the same time sounding ‘better’ and ‘more together’ (these terms being relative when we’re talking about ragged, scraggly D-beat, obviously). Vocals are a senseless yowl, instruments sound like people duelling with chainsaws. Feedback trickles through it all like something distasteful leaking from a plastic bag of medical waste. There’s maybe a whiff of Herätys about proceedings, thanks largely to the sense of unhinged and ebullient frenzy they bring forth. It’s decent.
