Honestly, I dread to think how many hours I must have spent listening to Okay Crusty Metallic Hardcore. ‘Buried In Light’ adds to the numberless procession of lost moments with its grunts, gurns and chunters, blobbing together elements of Tragedy, Trap Them and Neurosis in a manner that’s capable if ultimately pallid and anodyne. Rather than tucking into this I’d say give it a miss and head straight to the Starkweather stuff that their record label has released and reissued instead.
