Silvester Anfang II - s/t - CD (2009)

Labels: Aurora Borealis
Review by: Alex Deller

Another elongated fever dream here from Silvester Anfang (II), this time drifting woozily in and out of consciousness and gradually unravelling itself over 69 gloriously unsettling minutes. Combining droning repetition, murmuring, ghostly vocals and all manner of electronic squelches, wibbles and wurbles their dark, lost-in-the-woods folk slowly seeps and oozes up between the cracks of your cabin floor and touches base with such celestial bodies as Ash Ra Temple, Amon DÜÜl II and Bardo Pond as it sends out strange, groping tendrils for any last dwindling beams of sunlight that may still remain.
