Having a bit of a funny relationship with this lot since they’re sending me so many mixed messages: that first 7″ for Grave Mistake was a proper belter but the album for Bridge 9 was a turgid waste of their time and mine. This brisk lil three-tracker sees ’em back on fiery form and banging out the goods as though their lives depended on it, their springy, sinewy punk rock caught partway between the groping fingers of ‘Automatic Midnight’ and the snapping teeth of that first fantastic Circle Jerks album. Blinding!
