This sounds like an artifact of the early 80s or something. Finnish elecro post-punk (that’d make it new wave or something?), lurking somewhere between Talking Heads, Kraftwerk and New Order, maybe. I know very little about this type of sound. The track is really solid and, with an incessant bassline lurking beneath the well executed stark vocals and the melodic elements, coming together to make a fresh sounding song in a genre that recently would rather just pilfer from Interpol and be done with it. Not bad at all.
