After a decent 7″ here come 10 new rippers from Society Nurse, channelling the spirit of Die Kreuzen and Mecht Mensch with something like a punked-up Rorschach thrown in for good measure. Songs are sharp, venomous and don’t hang about long, but for all that they’re still memorable and distinct enough that this isn’t just a blur of mindless, adrenalized noise. The more I listen the more I like, and if you dig the idea of unhinged musicality wedded to snarled, life-is-crappy-and-I’m-barely-keeping-it-together sentiments then you should definitely give this one a whirl.
