Dowzer play pop punk and do it reasonably well. The main vocalist has a good voice and the female vocals just behind add well. The band clearly model themselves on US pop punk but there’s no shame in that. The song structures and riffs are varied enough. On second thoughts it’s the vocals that don’t vary enough – more use could be made of the dualled-nature in my view.
