Tidy, compact grind that charges full steam ahead and doesn’t let anything get in its way. The sound is tight and muscular with absolutely no excess fat, every riff carefully weighted and delivered with maximum heft. No-nonsense acts like Phobia, Nasum and Kill The Client spring to mind, and as with those bands Human Cull also showcase a knack for eking moments of cruel invention in amongst the savagery. Tracks like ‘Baleful Foundation’ and ‘The Hecatomb Enterprise’ stand out amid the melee, but it’s all jaw-crunching, upper-tier stuff that’s more than worthy of your precious time.
