This band name reminds me of Eagle Eye Cherry and has been giving me nightmares about that song being on the radio every 5 minutes at some point in the 90s. It’s not Eagle Cherry thankfully but this is some lo-fi indie pop from Tokyo. One new song and one cover of The Velvet Underground. The jovial and carefree “Hot Summer Nights” is their new track and is a nostalgic, bouncy look into the past. Their pretty faithful cover of “After Hours” follows that. I didn’t get around to listening to their debut album when it came out last year but I’m looking to rectify that shortly.
