Four songs that were originally released four years ago, now returned as a UK micro pressing. Simple, ultra-aggressive punk rock is what’s in store for you, with vocals like a small, aggressive dog vomiting down a drainpipe; guitars that sound like an alien approximation of what guitars might sound like and marshy basslines that plap somewhat indistinctly, as though they are coldcuts being carelessly dropped onto greasy linoleum. The fourth song, ‘Ash’, is The Slow One, so that’s obviously my favourite, but the rest I am pretty happy to get behind. Recommended if you like the idea of a thin, sickly, confused Hoax, maybe?
