I’ve had this for a while, so apologies to Adam who made this music. Adam also plays in Insouciant who have received positive words on these pages, and this is 5 simple, short and pleasant acoustic numbers. Nods may well be made to American Football in the guitar work, and the vocals are emphatic and emoted, vaguely reminding me of early Joan of Arc, especially when he is singing things like “I’m so fucking grown up now”. It’s a very lo-fi production, just a guy sitting in a room who has recorded what’s going on, by the sound of it, but it works. I prefer Insouciant but this is a nice, brief listen and it has been lovingly packaged also with hand written lyrics and a textured inlay.
