At times this sounds like a piece of music the IOC might have commissioned to soundtrack the official highlights reel of a particularly unsuccessful Winter Olympiad (Denver ’76), then after a while it doesn’t sound like that anymore – the games were a success after all! (Innsbruck ’76)
This is a brilliant album of minimalist electronica reminiscent of the best (1970s) work of Terry Riley or Steve Reich. Get it and listen to it carefully.
