Fierce, powerviolent hardcore for the stressed and depressed. This lot come from the same Deep Six genepool that’s furnished us with the likes of Low Threat Profile, To The Point and Lack Of Interest, and the tell-tale signs are all there: stop n’ start dynamics; an airless, panic attack-inducing production job and belligerent vocals that come off somewhere between Joe Denunzio and Chris Dodge. The A-side blazes by in a whirlwind of non-stop aggression while the flip is taken up by two slightly different cuts: ‘I Feel You’ is more drawn out, focusing on a slower lope that’s interspersed by blasts of speed while closer ‘Entitlement’ takes tips from the ‘You Suffer’ school of brevity. The folks involved all know exactly how this kind of hc should be played, and while it’s not quite top-tier stuff it’s still more than enough to send your teeth rattling to the back of your throat.
