On this record, Triac continue to be great. Ragged, jagged grind is the order of the day, with the first three tracks tearing your flesh like a whirlwind of knives and the last … ‘Sinner Meat’ … ending on a low, roiling pound that’s as ominous as it is great. Sick/Tired have the unenviable task of following that, and do so with some meat n’ potatoes grind that doesn’t really go anywhere. It’s energetic, well played and well pieced together, but for all its blasting and variegated vocals it just comes off rather limp at the edges. That Triac side though, eh?
