As an excuse to keep their tourvan topped up and ticking over, this album more than does the job, but these road warriors remain an enjoyably shallow proposition. They’ve not deviated from their no-frills, serious hardcore punk blueprint, incorporating the odd offbeat structural shift to keep things fresh, and while the first few tracks blast by in a burst of energy, interest does wane over the course of the album. A special mention should be given to the totally sick drumming though, elevating proceedings with flourishes that propel it forward whilst keeping things tight. The artwork features a demolished Capitol building and a skeletal motorbike gang, which I think gives you some indicator of where this is coming from thematically.
